The legacy of Northern Bedford County schools is built on a rich tradition of community and excellence. Classes officially began at the Robert P. Smith Vocational Building in the Fall of 1957, with the current NBC High School campus graduating its inaugural class in 1963. Today, Northern Bedford remains a vibrant focal point for music, arts, athletics, and educational growth.
Founded by dedicated alumni, the NBC Alumni Association was established to keep our community strong and connected across generations.
Mission Statement
The mission of Northern Bedford County Alumni Association is to lead alumni in fostering strong social connections with each other as well as the Northern Bedford County School Community. This will be achieved through sponsorship of periodic gatherings and other platforms to expedite fund raising to support alumni-sponsored projects.
The Association encourages all alumni members to engage in its activities, and to offer ideas for programs that enhance the life experience of students, parents, alumni and the school community.
